Cruise Control with ACC Fonction

I'm coming from France and I hope you can help me.

I see a post about Cruise Control and I would like to explain my experience.

Last week I receive my New A3 SportBack 2.0L TDI 150CV, manual gear.

I've bought the cruise control option with traffic regulation, Adaptive Cruise Control.

I'm very disappointed because with the ACC function, it's not possible/permitted to select a speed up to 150km/h !!

I try to discus with Audi France to remove ACC and just keep a standard cruise control function and they told me that's it's impossible to come back...

For me it's very strange that remove this function is impossible.

Do you know if it can be an issue ?? Crack the car by a new firmware ?? Buy a new cruise control arm ??
